Summary: Eleanor Roosevelt smiles broadly in a formal photographic portrait taken by Clarence E. Premo which has been submitted to the Bismarck Tribune in advance of her speaking in Bismarck on behalf of the American Association for the United Nations in 1958. She was involved with this advocacy group from 1953 until her death in 1962. She wears a three-strand pearl necklace. This photograph was used on the 5 cent stamp issued in 1963.
