Summary: A large bus carries an exhibit created by the United States Atomic Energy Commission, and men and women are entering and exiting from the two doors of the travelling display. "Atoms For Peace" is emblazoned on the sides of the bus. This project was part of the national reaction to the Cold War. President Eisenhower developed this in an attempt to be more transparent with the American people the uses-both for warfare and for energy in a peaceful way-of nuclear or atomic energy.
