Inscription/Marks: On the back: 0080-Box2-file17-1 is replaced with 00080-0042-01732, two purple U.S. Army proprietary stamps, and the following blue typed description: 01-088-622/AJ58 Cadet Lynn Rundle (New England) a student at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, gets first-hand information about the Army’s signal equipment from Signal Specialist Peter W. Deming (Rochester, New York). Cadet Rundle is one of thirty-three young women from colleges and universities throughout the Nation, attending the Army’s new four-week College Junior Program at the US Women’s Army Corps Center, Fort McClellan, Alabama. Summary: Cadet Lynn Rundle of New England, North Dakota, a student at the University of North Dakota smiles as she sits in a military Jeep during a training event with Signal Specialist Peter W. Deming, a trainer at the U.S. Women's Army Corps Center at Fort McClellan, Alabama. Rundle was one of thirty -three young college women from across the United States attending the newly developed College Junior Program for a four week training which will make the women eligible to apply for Army Reserve commissions after graduation. She is in a light summer uniform and cap, Deming, from Rochester, New York, wears a helmet and sturdy uniform.
