Title: Moonlight on the Missouri River, Fort Yates (N.D.)

Summary: A woman in a mid-calf length dress stands on a hill in the foreground over looking the Missouri River. Willows line the edge of the river and reeds and other plants line the sand bars that are visible in the foreground of the river. Behind that the river flows free and the moonlight cattches the top of the moving water. In the background are the hills lining the opposite side. Over all the moon hangs in the sky lighting the landscape. [please note, the moon has either been enhanced on the negative or a cut-out used in printing the image. This is not the actual moon]

Summary: Consists of images mostly taken by Dana Wright of his service in the Mexican Border War, Spanish American War and Philppine Insurrection, and Word War I in the North Dakota Volunteers and North Dakota National Guard.
