A detached paper once taped to the back: "Northwest Orient Airlines Photo (typed) Northwest Airlines stewardess watches Old Tom slup up a dish of cream, as Singapore Susie looks on from the right. story B.T. May 29, 1958, p. 7".
Summary: A smiling Northwest Airlines stewardess, Florence Tschider, kneels in the open doorway of an airplane to watch the airport cat known as Old Tom drink up a bowl of cream she has given him, watched closely by another airport cat, Singapore Susie. The cats were popular characters at the Bismarck airport. The photgraph was submitted to the Bismarck Tribune by the PR department of the airlines.
