Summary: William is standing near his claim shack and some neighbor is laying near it. The shack has tarpaper covering the exterior and wood nailed on top of the tarpaper to hold it during windstorms. It has a glass window on the photo left side and the door is open to the interior behind William Dunn. William is wearing a white work shirt with work pants held up with suspenders and a slouch cap and boots. His neighbor has overalls over a white shirt and is wearing a hat and heavy boots. Between the two is a wash basin with a cloth next to it on the ground. Behind them the ground has been turned on the prairie.
