Summary: A large two story brick school house with large bell tower. Trees have been planted in the school yard. Another brick building is partially visible in the right background. Central School in Minot, N.D. was first named the Minot Graded School; it later became known as the Central Graded School or Central School. Completed and occupied in 1893, it housed all of Minot’s school children until 1904, when another school opened for the increasing number of grade 1-5 students. Central School was demolished in the late 1920s.
