Title: Main Street, Tagus (N.D.)

Inscription/Marks: [front-print] Main St. Tagus, N. Dak.
Summary: View of storefronts down both sides of the street. Several horses and wagons are on the street towards the left. The Great Northern Railroad station was first established here in 1900 and the town was first known as Wallace before the name changed to Tagus about 1901. The population peaked in 1940 at 140. The post office closed in 1966, and today Tagus is essentially a ghost town.
