Summary: The river has a slight bend in the foreground. In the distance a bridge is visible. On the left shore there is a grain elevator and a smokestack. Trees are on both shores. The DeMers bridge, in the distance, and Point bridge, which this view is taken from, were built at the same time, both completed in 1889. Both bridges also featured a turntable design, allowing the bridge to spin in order to let steamboats pass through.
