Summary: An overview of the town from the outskirts. Two grain elevators are in the distance on the left. A variety of houses, shacks and sheds are visible in the town. A church steeple is in the distance at right. The ground is snow covered. The Northern Pacific Railroad built a facility here in 1881. Settlement began in 1900. By 1910, the town had over 1,000 inhabitants. In 1912, Beach became the seat of Golden Valley County.
