Summary: Postcard showing storefronts on both sides of the street. The street is unpaved. There are sidewalks and utility poles running along both sides. Several horses and carriages are parked on both sides. In the distance three cars are parked, one on the left and two on the right. This community began in 1882 as Gibson. The town was renamed Wimbledon when the Soo Line Railroad arrived in 1893. In 1910 the town's population peaked at 571.
