Philip Reade, U.S. Army, Retired, The Wadsworth, 10 Kenmore St., Boston Mass. "Bird's Eye View of Wounded Knee, So. Da., near Pine Ridge after the affair of 29 Dec. 1890 between brig. S. Whiteside's quadrons 7th U.S. Cav'y. and Big Foots Indians. Snow on the ground. The dark blotches are dead indians, dead soldiers, dead horses. Big Foot and his sons are amoung the slain also Capt.
