Summary: Two storey brick bank and office building. The second storey has several signs indicating law offices. People are milling about the entrance and front of the building. Horses, with a partially visible cart, stand to the left. The foreground is an unpaved street.||The original First National bank in Fargo was a small wooden shack built in 1878. This brick building replaced it in 1879. This building was destroyed by fire in 1893 and a new building constructed on the same site.
