Summary: View down the railroad tracks crossing the Red River. Men stand on both sides of the tracks. The water is noticeably high.||The St. Paul, Minneapolis and Manitoba Railroad reached Grand Forks with the construction of this bridge in 1880. In 1882 flooding raised water levels 43 feet above the low water mark, nearly submerging this bridge.
