Summary: Governor Louis B. Hanna sits at a rolltop desk in the capitol building in Bismarck. Stamps, pens, and papers are visible on the desk, and a telephone is visible to his right.||Louis B. Hanna was born in Pennsylvania and educated on the East Coast. Hanna and his brother Robert came to Dakota Territory in 1881 and farmed near Hope. He later moved to Page and opened several businesses, including the First National Bank of Page. He served in the state senate before becoming governor in 1913.
