Summary: Full length seated portrait of young woman in dark dress with ribbon tied bonnet with veil with young child seated on lap. She holds the child with her right hand and a puppy with her left hand. Child is dressed in light skirt with dark coat over white shirt and is holding small rifle in hands. The child is the young Marquis de Mores, and it is presumed the woman is his mother. The picture was taken in around 1860, at the L. Crette studio, Paris, France.
