Summary: A view of the buildings of the town of Medora. Cattle graze in a field in the foreground. Visible are some houses, two wooden water tanks, stores, the hotel, the church and school complex, in the middle, and James W. Foley, Jr.'s house (formerly Von Hoffman House) on right.||The town of Medora was established in 1883 by the Marquis de Mores, and named for his wife, Medora.

Summary: An artificial collection from a variety of sources, the collection includes images of family and businesses owned by Marquis de Mores, primarily in Medora, ND and in France. Includes prints, negatives, and albums.
