Summary: View of the Lost Bridge on Highway 22.||The 530-foot Lost Bridge on Highway 22, north of Killdeer, was constructed in the 1930s to aid in moving cattle over the Little Missouri. The bridge was called lost because no road led to it. In 1952 a road was constructed, and the bridge received its first vehicular traffic. A new bridge was built in 1994 and is still used by local ranchers to move cattle.
